Angela Mock - Principal
[email protected] I am so very excited to be here in the Swan Valley! My husband and I have been married 31 years and have three adult children, Shelby, Ashley, and Logan; a son-in-law Collin, a soon to be son-in-law Hunter, and an adoptive daughter Keisha. I was born in Great Falls, as were all of my children, and my husband was born and raised in Hot Springs. We have lived outside of Charlo for the past 23 years. This is my 17th year in education as a Special Education Teacher and now Principal. What I have enjoyed the most about being a teacher is having the opportunity to help students of all abilities explore the world we live in. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, dabbling in different arts and crafts projects, and watching movies. As a family we play a lot of board games. Our love of the outdoors has included hunting, fishing, and taking scenic drives around western Montana, including exploring the Seeley/Swan Valley. I love spending my time with my family the most, but also highly enjoy playing horseshoes on the Mission Valley Horseshoe League that I have played on since 2006, and during the winter I enjoy playing cribbage. |

Katie Gleason - Secretary
[email protected] Hi! My name is Katie Gleason and I grew up right here in Condon, MT. My husband, Travis and I have 3 kids; Dakota, Darby and Camden, and a cat named Charlie. We like to go on Jeep rides and swim in the summer and sledding in the winter. I love watching my kids doing anything they love, especially sports and just spending time with them. I love photography, reading and tacos! |

I'm currently working on my degree while working at the school. I love reading and doing puzzles. I also love food but my favorite food is nachos! I love trying new recipes, and improving my cooking ability. |

Jamie Matthew - 3rd-5th Grade Teacher
[email protected] My name is Jamie Matthew, and I grew up in nearby Seeley Lake, Montana with my 5 sisters and 3 brothers, where my family owns and operates a guest ranch. My husband Jonathan and I have two children, our son Connor and daughter Aubrey. We have 4 dogs including a Newfoundland, two Poodle/Bichon crosses, and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy and two cats. Our family loves spending time outside, especially being on the lake on our boat or paddleboards in the Summer, as well as fly fishing on the river. In the winter, I enjoy downhill skiing, knitting, and cooking. One of my favorite things to do when I am not teaching is watching my kids play the sports they love and any other activities that they enjoy. |

Nikki Horstkamp
nhorstkamp@sveschoolmt.com Hello! The kids know me as Miss Nikki, and I know them by their names (the vast majority of the time). I grew up in Latin American and I went to university in England to study illustrations. I love sharing my miscellaneous life experiences and interests with the children I help teach, just as I love hearing about theirs. I share two dogs with my husband Bill, an Aussie named Murphy and a golden named Hank. In my spare time I enjoy drawing/painting, baking/cooking, hiking, driving, kayaking, playing video games, and camping. I work with every class, helping with music, art, in 3rd-6th, and in junior high. I hope that I can bring as much joy to every student's day as they do to mine! |
Sophie Trull
strull@sveschoolmt.com
My name is Sophie Trull. I grew up in the Swan Valley and moved back with my husband seven years ago to raise our family. We now have three wonderful daughters, two playful kittens, and a dozen chickens. As a family, we love spending time outdoors; swimming and hiking in the summer, cross- country skiing and exploring the beautiful valley in the winter.
I have always been passionate about Early Childhood Education, Place-based Education, and the unique community of the Swan Valley. Being able to serve our community as an educator is a true privilege, and I feel incredibly fortunate to live, work, and raise my family in such a special place.
