Nestled between the Swan and Mission Mountains, Swan Valley Elementary School is the heart of a close-knit community with deep roots in Montana's rural history. Built in the 50s, our school has less than 40 students, allowing lots of one-on-one student/teacher time. Living in the valley makes outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking and snowmobiling easily accessible. The Swan Valley is often described as a mountain paradise... and it could be your home!

Many in our community graduated from Swan Valley Elementary School and some of their parents did as well. We believe it's a special place and we're looking for a special teacher to continue its traditions while introducing new and exciting ideas to our students.
If you're interested in living and working in a community known for looking out for their neighbors, where the Christmas Craft Fair includes home-baked desserts like no other, where everyone you run into at the post office knows you by name, our beautiful valley and its community may be a good fit for you.
